Job Overview

As a Music Engineer at Apping Technology, you will be responsible for recording, mixing, and mastering high-quality audio content for various applications, including AI-powered voice synthesis, music production, and multimedia projects. You will collaborate closely with developers, sound designers, and AI teams to ensure optimal sound quality and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, mix, and master audio for music, voiceovers, and multimedia applications.
  • Design and implement high-quality sound effects and background scores.
  • Work closely with AI developers to optimize audio for machine learning models.
  • Edit, clean, and enhance recorded audio using DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
  • Collaborate with artists, composers, and voice actors to achieve desired sound output.
  • Manage sound libraries and ensure seamless integration with digital platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in audio engineering, AI-driven music production, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Music Technology, Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in music production, mixing, and mastering.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in DAWs such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, or Cubase.
    • Knowledge of audio processing plugins, EQ, compression, and effects processing.
    • Experience with MIDI programming and synthesis.
    • Understanding of AI-based audio tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong creative and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with spatial audio, 3D sound design, or immersive soundscapes.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven music composition tools (e.g., OpenAI Jukebox, Amper Music).
  • Knowledge of audio programming languages (e.g., Max/MSP, SuperCollider, Python for audio processing).
