The Junior Flight Coordinator assists in planning, scheduling, and coordinating flight operations to ensure smooth and efficient airline or charter services. This role involves working closely with pilots, ground staff, and operations teams to manage flight logistics, crew coordination, and compliance with aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Flight Planning & Scheduling: Assist in preparing flight schedules, coordinating routes, and ensuring aircraft availability.
  • Crew Coordination: Support crew assignments, ensuring compliance with duty regulations and availability.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate flight records, crew logs, and regulatory documentation.
  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise with pilots, air traffic control, ground services, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
  • Operational Monitoring: Track flights in real-time and address delays or operational disruptions.
  • Passenger & Cargo Handling: Assist in coordinating passenger manifests and cargo loading as required.
  • Safety & Regulations: Ensure adherence to aviation safety guidelines and airline policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in airline operations, flight dispatch, or coordination.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in flight planning and scheduling tools.
    • Basic knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with aviation software and flight tracking systems.
  • Prior internship or experience in an airline or aviation company.
  • Understanding of air traffic control coordination and airline logistics.
